Native Oyster Aquaculture Research (NOAR) project has received funding through the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund 2014-2020, which is funded by the European Union and the Welsh Government.

NOAR will establish a pilot-scale hatchery for O. edulis using innovation to develop the ability to produce oysters year-round for both habitat restoration as well as for human consumption.
